Marisha Ray Career

In 2012, Ray created the Batgirl fan series Batgirl: Spoiled, in which she played the title role. In 2015, she started co-starring in the online series Critical Role, where she plays D&D Fifth Edition with other voice actors. In her first campaign, she took on the role of Keyleth, a half-elf druid.

She portrayed the human priest Beauregard in the second campaign. In her third campaign, she is presently playing the warlock/sorcerer Laudna.

She was engaged in several of Geek & Sundry’s other initiatives, notably Signals Boost!, Key Questions, and Sagas of Sundry. She was hired as creative director at Geek & Sundry on July 28, 2017, however, she resigned in June 2018.

At the 2019 Webby Awards, a crucial role earned both the Webby and People’s Voice Awards in the “Games (Video Series & Channels)” category, and it was also a finalist and public favourite at the 2019 Shorty Awards.

The actors launched their own production business, called Critical Role Productions, in early 2019 as a consequence of Critical Role’s enormous success. Ray’s part as Keyleth in The Legend of Vox Machina, the animated series’ relaunch, was bought by Amazon Prime Video in November 2019.
